A superior handling rescue rope, the New England Ropes KM III rope features a composite construction, the continuous filament polyester sheath being braided onto a continuous nylon fiber core.
Equipped with a balanced construction with the sheath and the core representing each half of the total weight,
KM III is balanced in couple to eliminate any tendril during a recall.
The polyester sheath offers additional protection against ultraviolet light and harmful chemicals for nylon, while reducing the loss of strength and weight gain when nylon absorbs water.

Certification - UL Classified according to NFPA 1983 on Ropes and Safety Equipment for Emergency Services, 2012 Edition.
Construction - Creel Block, Static Kernmantle.
Fiber - The core is 100% nylon. The sheath is 100% high tenacity polyester.
Sheath braided to 32 strands, half of the strands having a left twist (Z) and the other half having a right twist (S) for a balanced cord without torque with maximum resistance to abrasion.
Classification - NFPA General Use for 13 mm (1/2 in); NFPA Technical Use for 9.5 mm (3/8 in) and 11 mm (7/16 in)
Temperature - Melting Point: 238 ° C (460 ° F).
