The i-gel supraglottic airway is an industry leading second generation supraglottic airway device.
The i-gel, made from medical grade thermoplastic elastomer, has changed the way airway management is approached and as such is used worldwide for anesthesia and resuscitation.
During resuscitation you need equipment that is easy, fast and reliable to use. The i-gel is ideal for use during CPR and for difficult to access airways.
It offers high leak pressures and reduced trauma.
The i-gel® also contains a suction channel to provide additional protection against suction.
i-gel can therefore also be used for passive oxygenation or passive airway management, as part of an appropriate cardioCerebral resuscitation protocol.
i-gel is supplied in an easy to identify color coded protective container.
