Ready-Heat™ 4-panel (torso size) and 6-panel (full body) blankets are used to aid in the treatment of patient hypothermia, shock and trauma.
Due to their high tensile strength, both can be used as escape bedding (if needed) and can carry a person weighing up to 250 lbs.
Both blankets comply with US military protocol used in the transport of wounded soldiers.
All Ready-Heat™ blankets using panel technology are individually sealed in a protective oxygen-free polythene bag.
When the polybag is opened, the heating elements in the blanket react with oxygen in the atmosphere and generate heat.
The heat generated will provide sufficient warmth and comfort to the user for up to 8 hours.
